Gut health and gastro issues

Does anyone have any tips for reducing the likelihood surgery to repair hernias? I have a hiatal hernia and gallstones and probably an epigastric hernia as well. It certainly might come to surgery, but I don't know anyone who has had it. Any success stories? Any alternatives to surgery? I am not talking about occasional GERD or small hernias, but larger, more complicated gut issues.

Just checking in with you.  How’s it going? Any luck with this yet?

What did your doc say?  As far as I know hiatal hernias don’t resolve on their own.  A sliding hiatal hernia can slide as the name implies, but it’s  always there.  Never heard of a hernia resolving by itself
