My siblings are not involved but I’m worried that they’ll accuse me of some sort of selfish spending of my parents’ money. How can I protect myself against their accusations?

Keep very careful records of what is spent, keep receipts, and also keep track of how many hours you’re spending helping your parents. This is useful for you and your parents as well. You may realize you can’t afford to spend so much time doing things for them and you’ll see opportunities for others to help, and to delegate to paid people for tasks like housecleaning or shoveling snow.
