Why are Carnival Gift Cards no longer premium

I frequently purchase the Carnival Gift Cards. I noticed that they are no longer premium. Why is that? Are they going away?

I just spoke with AARP about this.  They gave the standard market conditions, demand, etc….  I also found out that if you have a spouse or another adult in the same house on your membership, they can also purchase 5.  In addition, you no longer need to be 55 to purchase a membership.  Anyone over 18 can purchase, but benefits requiring proof of age (gift cards do not) don’t apply.  They can also purchase 5 per month.  Just some ideas after my call with AARP Rewards.  Hope this helps!

Me too. I'm hugely disappointed, was planning to buy for gifts for Christmas and now they are just 8% off!
