Are "Instant Rewards" really a scam?

So, I am new to this, but to have to spend points for a possible chance to win something is really scammy to me. Then you have to "earn" more by wasting time on here.  I do not like this.

This not true of any other rewards system I am on.  So maybe will never "spend" the points and just let them go; it is.not worth being disappointed to find out.

Even though I play them, I find the Instant Wins and Sweepstakes very disappointing, since I rarely win, but I wouldn't call them a scam, since there are people who do win them.  There are other rewards you can use your points on, if you don't want to use your points on playing the Instant Wins or Sweepstakes. I'm not sure what other rewards systems you are on, but I know there are other rewards systems similar to this, where you earn points by doing activities, and then can either use the points to get items or use them on contests, where you might win or might not. It is up to you to decide if the time you spend on earning points is worth it for what you can use the points on.
