Author, former entrepreneur. I started Verocall ( https://verocall.com ) to do daily check-ins for my 83-year-old mom who lives alone and hope it can help others too. Not quite retired yet, but hope to be soon.
Area of knowledge and what I know well:
I don't know much, but took care of dad until he passed, and worked to empty and sell his home. Now I try to help my mom who lives alone, 1000 miles away (we built a home for her but she declined to move here) as much as possible, remotely and with occasional visits.
