Thank you so much for your very comprehensive blog about your heart valve replacement. I may be facing the same surgery--minus the A-fib part--and information is crucial.

I bought the very expensive rechargeable hearing aids. Not only did they not help my hearing, they did nothing to lessen the tinnitus either. The hearing aids only increased the volume of the annoying noises--dishwasher beeping, footfalls on lamina...

Sherri, if you can find an elder advocacy organization in your area, such as Council on Aging, or AGE, maybe they can find help for you on getting the hearing device and help you need. Best wishes.
