Can you actually REDEEM rewards points for something? Or are they only for discounts?

The FAQ is not helpful... the interface is confusing.  Maybe because there are too many options.I have over 5,300 points... are they redeemable for anything that I don't have to "buy"... ?Input appreciated in simple terms. Thanks.Christine
