AARP Hearing Center
Apply!!!!
The guy printing the "Help Wanted" sign is the one making money.
From what you said you are looking for, I would think the first 3 would be, church, school, medical.
Don't even think about retail, ruins all the holidays.
Good Luck.........
Adding to what others have said - after my father died, my mother who had never worked and was also deaf, got a job at a local high school serving lunches. She worked about 3-4 hours a day for 3-5 days a week since she was one that was hired on an “as needed basis” . She could have gotten more hours but this was good for her. Hey, and the kids got to learn how to communicate with a deaf person - (see wore a button). Worked out great for several years.
Hi Gayle @GayleD690977 , thanks for responding to my question.
Here in Virginia, in my city, Carilion Hospital, hires them for their Wellness Centers.
Not sure where you are, but maybe check the MEDICAL facilities websites.
Also, maybe do a LinkedIn profile so recruiters can find you IF you have NOT done this.
Lastly, try to find people who are already doing what you want to do. Then ask them for tips to locate a job.
Maybe the school you attended for your training has resources to help students.
Good luck!!!
