As more and more floor care equipment are made, it has become easier for a person over the age of 50 to be a floor tech.  Even carwashes are even buying carts equipped with cup holders so as the worker has to go out into the heat, the worker can have a water bottle ride along and have it close by his or her workstation.  Make sure your water bottle is security closed if you want to work at a car wash so that way, you don't accidentally get a drop of cleaner finding it's way into your water bottle.
