Straight from the horses’ mouth -
SSA.gov - Pamphlet - 2024 - How Work Affects Your Benefit
Since you are electing yo get your benefits early instead of at your Full Retirement Age(FRA) then work WILL affect your benefit until you reach your FRA.
If you work and earn over a certain amount your benefit will be reduced. The amount you can earn changes some every year but not drastically. The Social Security Pamphlet (pdf) which I linked gives you all the details - the maximum amount that you can earn in 2024 and not have your benefits reduced, how much it will be reduced if you go over this amount since you are getting your benefits early.
In the year that you reach your FRA the amount of earning, subject to this rule is, higher and the amount they deduct from your benefit is also lower - The pamphlet gives all of that too.
Now these are ONLY W-2 or self-employment earnings - nothing more.
Once you are over your FRA, you can earn as much as you want with no benefit adjustment.
