My benefit calculation from SSA has two years where they lost track of my income and used $0

I'm now 74.

When I applied at 70 the SSA claimed they had no data for '95 and '96.

I have no copies of my tax filings from those years but now I have some proof of income for those years.

What to do to correct this ?  (file form # ?)

Thanks.

This document from the SSA should be helpful https://www.ssa.gov/pubs/EN-05-10081.pdf

It provides instructions for this situation.

Good luck!
