What songs from the 1970’s are on your playlist?
The 1970's were a great time for me, full of wonderful music to go along with the best decade of my life. So many songs to choose from, but I will start with one of my all time fav Fleetwood Mac songs "Go your own way" from the incredible Rumours album, recorded in 1977. I am pretty sure I wore this album out!!

He also did a nice cover of "Take it easy" in 1973, which he co-wrote with Glenn Frey, which was the first single released by the Eagles. We know how it worked out for the Eagles lol

Despite the Beatles break up (and my near breakdown because of it), they were all star artists in their own rights. Here are a few of my favorites from the Fab 4️⃣'s solo careers-
Paul McCartney- Helen Wheels 1973
John Lennon- #9 Dream 1974
George Harrison- What is life 1970
Ringo Starr- It don't come easy 1971

Some stuff hasn’t stood the test of time. But some are timeless. I’ve been thinking on and off about this for awhile now. I’ll start with
Bonnie Raitt’s first album (1971 IIRC)
Rickie Lee Jones first album (1979) Both have excellent careers.
Heart made an impression on me with their first album, but I have no interest in it now.
In jazz terms, I still put on Flora Purim’s albums.
