Pretty paper. Although I do like the Willie Nelson version, Glen Campbell's version is so nice. Another talent lost to Altzheimers in 2017. RIP Glen

Really enjoy Christmas music by the Carpenters. Karen had a beautiful voice and it was a tragic loss to lose her so young. My favorite by them is Merry Christmas Darling

Two more Christmas favorites, these from the classical music category -

Jesu, Joy Of Man's Desiring - Johann Sebastian Bach / Duo Rosanna (guitar and cello arrangement)

For Unto Us A Child Is Born - from Handel's Messiah / London Symphony Orchestra & Tenebrae Choir

Mary, did you know? by Kenny Rogers&Wynonna Judd. Such a beautiful song with an amazing message about what Christmas is really about. And no one else's version compares to theirs (imo)

So true!

In the non-traditional category, I would add these . . .

Blue Christmas - Elvis

Pretty Paper - Willie Nelson

Wonderful Christmastime - Sir Paul

Another favorite of mine is Run Run Rudolph only by the incomparable Chuck Berry tho. Runner up goes to Bryan Adams. Nobody else comes close imo

My favorite sacred carol is - Silent Night

And this is the most beautiful rendition, and unique arrangement that I've ever heard. It's by Celtic singers, Steve McDonald and his daughter, Hollie Smith.

Also from the sacred carols list -

Little Drummer Boy

In the Bleak Midwinter

The First Noel

My favorite secular carol is - Carol of the Bells

Followed by -

The Christmas Song  (Nat King Cole's version)

Sleigh Ride (Leroy Anderson)

Wassail Wassail All Over The Town (aka Gloucestshire Wassail)

Merry Christmas, everyone!
