 My brother was able to find the guitar chords and lyrics to the song 'Dancing in the Moonlight' so we added it to the list of songs we sing at our family's annual 'hootenanny'. I found three versions: the original (?) by Boffalongo, the popular King Harvest version, and my favorite by Toploader. Can't stop singing it to myself lately!

Found some amazing music onboard a flight back to the States from New Zealand. It was a compilation of Asian flavored new age and soft jazz from Pacific Moon Records, "Healing Collection", featuring piano, flute, guzheng, koto, and erhu music. It has helped a great deal of late, especially while recovering from triple bypass surgery. This is one of my many favorites of that genre. It features Missa Johnouchi playing a 25 string koto. Ms Johouchi is a UNESCO Artist for Peace trained in Japan and Paris. This piece evokes the flutter of butterflies:

Another favorite is Seaside from Naoyuki Onda with an upbeat jazzy flavor:

Really, anything by Johouchi and Onda is great but there are many more artists you may like in this genre like Jia Ping Fang and Jiang Xiao-Qing. Like Mizuyo Komiya's relaxing Spring Rain (25-string koto only):
