In memory of George, I decided to play his iconic album, All Things Must Pass. George was such a spiritual person, and his music reflects that spirituality. It's beautiful music. ☮️ 💟

I usually listen to music with more of a 'kick' to it but today, while driving, I decided that I'd like something calming. So I loaded a playlist from Spotify - Peaceful Music Box and Piano (BTS) the artist, formerly unknown to me, is Smyang Piano. Just beautiful and relaxing. Other times I enjoy lots of Aussie Rock, AC/DC (of course) but also Hoodoo Gurus, Lime Spiders, etc. I enjoy many types of music really. I remember joking in my late teens and early twenties about listening to Alice Cooper and Black Sabbath as an "old man". I turn 65 on Monday and like Jethro Tull sings, "No, you're never too old to Rock and Roll if you're too young to die." I'm happy to find this group, lots of good music being listened to in all kinds of genres!🤘😄
It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice.

Do What You Can - Bon Jovi w/ Jennifer Nettles (new song)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBLAamIlxy8
It's about the Covid pandemic, and taking care of each other. Bon Jovi dedicated the song to the frontline heroes. It's a very emotional song, and by the time they got to this last verse, I was in tears.
Although I'll keep my social distance
What this world needs is a hug
Until we find the vaccination
There's no substitute for love
So love yourself and love your family
Love your neighbor and your friend
Ain't it time we loved the stranger
They're just a friend you ain't met yet 💛
Many thanks to our working heroes - Healthcare professionals, first responders, the grocery workers, delivery service people, those who shop for us seniors, and all contributing to fight the pandemic and keep us safe. 🙏

Bon Jovi - Live at iHeart Radio Concert, September 2020
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PVdTmRBv6kQ
The band is socially distanced and not moving a lot since there are camera crews not too far away. This is the least animated that you will ever see this band, but that doesn't stop them from giving a great performance. JBJ's voice is in top shape. It also features the new single, Do What You Can with Jennifer Nettles. I'm loving this song and have been playing it almost every day since it came out!

S&M2 - Metallica (on Apple Music)
This is Metallica's 2nd performance with The San Francisco Symphony Orchestra. At some point, I plan to rent the video on Prime Video. The song selections and arrangements are excellent. It includes one classical composition performed by the orchestra with Metallica.
