Absolutely love listening to a music that can take me back to a time when "in my eyes" I had the whole world ahead of me...nothing but good things... young woman on the rise...ahhh, such some very good times!

Good to see modern & old blend so well. Just saw on CBS News how this song was taken off the country charts because it "wasn't country enough". Well, just imagine if Solar Cells and Flashlights were banned from farms/ranches because they're not "old enough".

1) Darlingside: four guys from Williams College. Tight harmonies, almost a baroque sound, very good musicians.
2) Khruangbin: my grandson recommended them. Instrumental group with many musical influences. I canโt begin to describe them, but I like their music.

I looked them up on YT and enjoyed both groups. Darlingside reminds of a more modern version of CSN (and sometimes Y). Khruangbin does have a lot of fusion going on which tends to give them a jazz like quality. Both very good. Always nice to hear something new and different that is really musical again.

This one fits into many threads here (Songs about, Growing Older, Friendships, Groups Who Made It Big After They Broke Up, etc).
Tommy Boyce & Bobby Hart wrote a lot of songs for the Monkees (only a single hit of their own, I Wonder What She's Doing Tonight). After the Monkees broke up, Micky Dolenz (a Monkee), Davy Jones (a Monkee), and Tommy Boyce & Bobby Hart formed a band. This is one of my favorites of theirs: Dolenz, Jones, Boyce & Hart; You And I. It's great.
