Songs with Clever Lines

So which lines jump out at you as especially clever or well written?

To start:  "We have to shout above the din of our Rice Crispies" ("Synchronicity II," the Police)

              "Is her power all in her club sandwich?" ("Waitress," Tori Amos)

Norgwegian Wood (Beatles):  "So I lit a fire"  [in the fireplace or did he burn the house down?]

That entire song is a bit "tilted" IMO. 🙃

This song paints a portrait of someone who literally painted portraits.  These lines are the ones that really stand out, for me. (one of my favorite songs of all time)

Seger's nostalgic reminiscence of adolescence, with all its passion, clumsy uncertainty, selfishness and learning. I think he's a great (and perhaps underrated) wordsmith who can really paint a picture.
