I love that song myself.   I feel like I can relate to it.   Actually that song was first done by a group called "Love" in 1967.   The version I listen to is from the group "Calexico" from the Convict Pool album.   I really love that group.  They have also provided background music for Iron & Wine (that's one man, not a group).

I like Linda Ronstadt's version of it better for some reason.   But I love Quicksand by Martha & The Vandellas.

Sweet And Dandy:  Toots & The Maytals     (Can't say I understand all the lyrics, but I think it's a happy song, reggae at its best).

Rock This House - B.B. King version

Originally written by Memphis Slim and released as Rockin' The House.  One of those irresistably peppy toe-tappers.  Alan Freed may have added the Roll, but folks were already Rockin'.
