SONG TITLES and SONGS about DISTANCES & TRAVEL

I'll try to get this topic started with these song titles about DISTANCES/TRAVELING   ...........

*Travelin' Man     Ricky Nelson   which made it to #1 in 1961

*I Ran (So Far Away)     Flock of Seagulls

For a different approach, songs about  DISTANCES/TRAVELING...........

*Walk Away Renee'     The Left Banke

*Ferry Across The Mersey     Gerry & The Pacemakers

Uh, I am sorry if I led off with songs which you may have wanted to post here. How about this....wait a while and then post it....or post it now ! You see, repetition is OKAY Man Wink

Please understand, there's lots of freedom and latitude with this topic. Be creative....let's have plenty of laughs and plenty of wows like:  "Wow, I wish I had thought of that one!!" "Wow, that's a good one!!

Don't know why I did not think of this song, sooner:

Thank U - Alanis Morissette

About her trip to India and her effort to re-center herself after the rush of fame caused by "Jagged Little Pill".

@ripvanwinkle96: Huh - I had no idea Seals and Crofts had been in the Champs. I knew Glen Campbell had, but I am not sure if he was in the band when they recorded "Tequila".

No kidding! talk about a couple unlikely guys, jumping from Tequila to public advocates of the Bahรก'รญ Faith. Well that's what makes music great, no boundaries.

@1968Hoya46  Allan Sherman did a nice take on "Matilda":

"My Zelda", who took the money and ran with the tailor.

"That tailor, he really hurt my pride. He made my lapels an inch too wide! My Zelda, she took the money and ran with the tailor."

Cheyenne - John Stewart, both solo and with Nick Reynolds.

Contains one of the best lines I have ever heard in a song:

"I've never had a job where the boss wouldn't steal the bass drum from his own brass band."
