SONG TITLE WORD ASSOCIATION

Okay

This is meant to be a long running topic .  The rules are simple and there are a zillion songs out there, so lets see what we can do with this.

You start with a song title.  Let's use  Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith

You look at that title, pick out one word from it and find a new song title with that word in it,( example, In & Out of Love - Bon Jovi)  then post the new title as your post.  The next person follows.   See easy

So lets give it a try.    My title is   Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith.

Diane

Well, I've tried posting twice, once as a regular new message and once as a reply to "In the Summertime" and they aren't showing up.

My reply is "In Bloom" - Nirvana - Nevermind - 1991

Or - you're going off the Paradise theme :

"Paradise by the Dashboard Light " - Meatloaf - Bat Out of Hell - 1977

Hi

I hope you have found that your posts are showing up here.  I am going io match your In Bloom

Falling In Love Again. Bryan Ferry. Lots of others

Cool, someone else knows & remembers Bryan Ferry !  I think I'll barf if I see another Sinatra song (no offense should you be a fan 🙂 Also appreciate that you went off Nirvana's song.  Don't you get tired of people thinking that everyone over 50 or whatever particular age doesn't know or like anything done since 1960 ?  I like music that was done way before I was born, but I also didn't stop paying attention once the 70s ended.

I found Bryan Ferry from the soundtrack to the film, 91/2 Weeks,  song  Slave to Love.  Great sound!

Yes I agree with you that people who love music do not always stop with the generation they grew up in but rather keep up with the current music because they love music.  Some of the artists from my youth will never lose their place in my heart;  Zeppelin, Janis, Jimmi and others but I have found music that I really like all through my life and still listen to the new stuff : )    Good point!
