SONG TITLE WORD ASSOCIATION

Okay

This is meant to be a long running topic .  The rules are simple and there are a zillion songs out there, so lets see what we can do with this.

You start with a song title.  Let's use  Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith

You look at that title, pick out one word from it and find a new song title with that word in it,( example, In & Out of Love - Bon Jovi)  then post the new title as your post.  The next person follows.   See easy

So lets give it a try.    My title is   Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith.

Diane

There seems to be a couple of anomalies going on. Perhaps the forum posts are not updating for Is1873 in a timely manner. I noticed a Save Me, SanFrancisco in response to Real Wild Child, but Is1873 responded correctly several posts earlier.

Help us out here Is1873. You got us scratching our heads! What the hell?!

Gotta laugh. It is what it is.

This one is my fault.  I posted "Save the Life of My Child" not realizing that it had been posted just a few entries up.  I edited mine but before it got through Is1873 posted something based on my post.  It looked out of line but wasn't until I edited.  I went on an posted again following hers hoping that would continue the thread.  Sorry if this caused confusion.  I don't know how to avoid it when several entries are being made at almost the same time.

I've been looking over both the post MsStretch referenced and the "chain is broken" post I was so interested in.  In each case, it looks to me like some posts could have been made at almost the same time, and then one or more posters edited their posts, to keep the thread flowing.  In the process of some posters changing their song titles,  the thread just got hopelessly tangled.  And perhaps "the chain is broken" was just a way of saying "this mess is beyond fixing!"  It would be great if a certain poster would enlighten us, but meanwhile the thread, broken or not, is moving forward.  Thanks to everyone who has contributed time & thought to this matter.  Pam/gatorgorilla

That's a possibility, MsStretch.  It was happening to me a week or so ago.  I'd refresh the page, post and when I'd come back later and refresh the page again, several posts would appear above mine that hadn't been there before.  It hasn't happened in the past few days, though.

Thanks, dragons3, for taking the time to reply, and promptly.  You always seem to be considerate & cooperative - I think most all of us regular Song Title posters appreciate that!  Smiley Happy

Addendum:  I just googled because I thought I remembered a gospel song about broken chains. -- There is one called "Break Every Chain" and it contains the phrase " . . . every chain is broken".  Maybe it was a legitimate error in posting?

dragons3:  I did internet search but could not find song titled "And The Chain Is Broken."  I am mystified - did you really think that was a legitimate song title?  Wish you or "ls1873" would explain.  Thanks...

Can someone explain to me what this post was all about?  Is that a song title?  If not a song title, why did ls1873 feel the need to break the chain?  I just don't get it....
