SONG TITLE WORD ASSOCIATION

Okay

This is meant to be a long running topic .  The rules are simple and there are a zillion songs out there, so lets see what we can do with this.

You start with a song title.  Let's use  Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith

You look at that title, pick out one word from it and find a new song title with that word in it,( example, In & Out of Love - Bon Jovi)  then post the new title as your post.  The next person follows.   See easy

So lets give it a try.    My title is   Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith.

Diane

MsStretch:  Thanks so much for sharing this.  I was going to look for it myself this afternoon but you have saved me the trouble.  I don't know how I missed it when it came out, the song or the group.  It was really good and, as they used to say on Bandstand, good to dance to also.  Hard to sit still while listening to it.  I'll have to see if more of their work is on Youtube.

to:   BROWN EYED HANDSOME MAN  -  Chuck Berry

reached #5 on Billboard's R&B Singles chart in late 1956

note:  I found the last 4 posts interesting and fun to follow!  d'angelo's "Brown Sugar" is an entirely different song than The Rolling Stones' "Brown Sugar", from their 1971 album "Sticky Fingers".  I had never heard of Rockpile, so learned a little something there, since I was familiar with Dave Edmunds and (cute!) Nick Lowe.  PattyDiane mentioned googling - something I suspect a number of us have resorted to on occasion, but rarely, if ever, mentioned.  Kudos to you for being so forthcoming, PattyDiane!

For you, PattyDiane. Dave Edmunds and Nick Lowe were once members of Rockpile.

I am going to make this really hard or really easy. LOL...how many 'sugars' can you think of?

LookOverYonder - "Sugar Shack" was never a favorite of mine, but it certainly brings back memories of 1963.  Back then, you could not turn on the radio without hearing "Sugar Shack".  It was everywhere, you could not escape it! Glad you posted it, though at the time I got pretty sick of hearing that tune!

Sugar Shack     Jimmy Gilmer & The Fireballs     The overall #1 Hit of 1963

Now that sugar shack queen is a'married to me, yeah yeah
We just sit around 'n' dream of those old memories
Ah, but one of these days I'm gonna lay down some tracks
In the direction of that sugar shack
Just me and her, yeah, we're gonna go back
To that...sugar shack

Oh honey...to that sugar shack!
