Please!!  This morning it was 7℉ in Austin, Tx! This is serious record breaking temp for this part of the country. It's presently about 20 and not going to go much higher. We have about 5" of snow on the ground. Nice white powder for anyone wanting to ski about town. Roads are impassable for anything but 4x4, and even they have some trouble getting about in places. Will be back in single digits by tomorrow morning and not expected to be out of the freeze until maybe Thursday, possibly Friday. It's been below freezing since Friday. This is unheard of for us. Some areas of the city have been without power for many hours, and some neighbors are without water due to pipes freezing. So far, we have power and water with everything dripping. We're ALL Livin' on a Prayer at this point. 🙏

How do you folks up north go through this every winter?
