"Good Lovin'" The No.1 hit for the Young Rascals in 1966. Was a cover of the Olympics 1964 version. Which was a cover of the original recording, written by R Clark and done by a obscure group, Lemme B. Good.

"Route 66" - written by Bobby Troup (singer, songwriter, jazz pianist, actor) (was Dr. Early on Emergency) - in 1946 while he was driving west to seek fame and fortune in Los Angeles.

First recorded in '46 by Nat King Cole Trio

That was really interesting. Somehow, it reminds me of how a certain book would be interpreted into several different languages. They're the same, yet different at the same time.

I do like Depeche Mode; especially Policy Of Truth, and Enjoy The Silence. I also like Tyrannosaurus Rex. I got their greatest Hits album (i.e. Ride A White Swan).

Eddie Cochran's great anthem "Summertme Blues" has been covered several times, 

Blue Cheer was an American rock band that initially performed and recorded in the late 1960s.. Based in San Francisco, Blue Cheer played in a psychedelic blues rock or acid rock style, and are also credited as being some of the earliest pioneers of heavy metal, with their cover of "Summertime Blues" sometimes cited as the first in the genre. Now that I'm on the DC5 kick, their cover of Bobby Day's "Over & Over" was their only song that reached No.1 in the US. It seems that several other of their hits would have numero uno but Billboard says nope.

What? I remember when Santana's version came out. I also remember that I heard the band Santana before I heard the Fleetwood Mac band. I always thought Fleetwood Mac was covering Santana's song. Surprise, surprise.

Keeping with oldies - I don’t know the original, and haven’t found it on YouTube. I always thought it was Ricky’s song since that’s the only one I remember. So this song has had a lot of covers. My favorite is Queen, and I don’t really care for the Led Zep version (sorry LZ fans), but included it any way. Statlers version is pretty cool. Do y’all have a favorite?

I like Brian Adams. But, this is not as good as Bob Dylan's version.
