     I’m going to go out on a limb, @1968Hoya46 , and ask if this is the genius of you being you.  I laughed when I thought of this correlation, so hoping I read your wit.

       H.R. Pufnstuf children’s show by Sid and Marty Kroft, from the late 60’s-early 70’s.   Hence your clever song title change to Sid the Magic Dragon.  As soon as I saw Sid, I thought of Sid and Marty Kroft, then the correlation to H.R. Pufnstuf. If so, brilliantly done, and thank you for that memory filled joy. 😊
