ABC's of Song Titles

Not sure if this has been done before (got tired of searching after 20 or 30 pages and search function doesn't always provide expected results).

List a song title with it's group/singer alphabetically. A - Z and start over. I think there should be a song somewhere for every letter. Any year is acceptable. Double postings are ok.

Starting off with:

   A Hard Day's Night  - Beatles

 For the letters Q, X and Z:

When those letters come up, you may skip them and post the next letter. Or, you can post a Q, X or Z and post the next letter if you wish. Either choice is fine.

👋  Good morning Howard @Howard897012 !!!

Tks for "kudo" Bob @BobH07 . Nicole!

➡️[*** Wade In The Water -  Ramsey Lewis 1966.

(This instrumental song, which is a more modern rendition of a spiritual dating back to 1901, later also became a hit for Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass (1967, instrumental version).)

➡️[*** Wade In The Water - Herb Alpert And The Tijuana Brass 1967.

(Same song as the above (instrumental version))

Hi Nicole. I remember the Ramsey Lewis version, but not the Herb Alpert one. Thanks for the info, as always.

You're welcome, Nicole. It's inevitable we're going to be repeating posts, especially those people who are also playing the Song Title Word Association game and the Oldies version.

Take care,

Howard
