Any RETIREES out there?  ๐Ÿค”

We want to hear from YOU!!!  ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Per Google.

Types of Retirement:

(1) Voluntary Retirement: The most common type, based on age and service requirements.

(2) Early Retirement: Allows retirement before the usual age, but may involve penalties or reduced benefits.

(3) Disability Retirement: For individuals who become unable to work due to a disability.

(4) Phased Retirement: Allows individuals to transition to retirement gradually by working part-time.

โžก๏ธ[*** I did #1 at age 62 in 2020 when COVID arrived. Had planned on working until whenever.

ENJOY YOUR RETIREMENT!!! I AM.

Take care,

Retirement, for many of the people Iโ€™ve interacted with, especially small business owners, isnโ€™t just about relaxing โ€” itโ€™s about planning the next big step. Iโ€™ve seen several folks in Georgia work with business brokers in Atlanta to smoothly transition out of ownership, either by selling their business or preparing it for the next generation.

Itโ€™s inspiring to see how retirement can also mean passing on a legacy, not just stepping away. What does it mean to you personally.

Well we made it to 2025 and a new month - May.

Seems like 2025 is "flying" by for me.

Retirement changes as I change.

Right NOW, the word means to me = NO boss to deal with.  ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Take care,

[April 24, 2024]

I retired at age 62 in 2020 when my then employer didnot see a NEED to "protect" us from the public (their customers).

While I had planned to continue to work until they put me out  ๐Ÿ™„, my SAFETY came first.

Way TOO MANY of us oldies were dying from COVID that year.

It is NOW 2024 and we are still dealing with it here in Cave Spring, Virginia.

While I NO longer wear my mask, I DONOT do "groups and stay out of buildings" UNLESS it is mandatory.

Spring I think is finally here with Mother Nature PLAYING with all 3 seasons (winter, spring, summer). Lol, we here in Cave Spring, Virginia get to guess EACH day what season we will be having.  ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ

I am SO READY for COVID to be controlled. My doctor says it will "one day" become like the Flu = a YEARLY SHOT.  ๐Ÿ‘

Meanwhile I keep up on ALL my COVID shots while I figure out my Year 2024 Retirement.

retirement is a myth. the home in the warm south, gold watch and lazy days under the sun are a product of 60's thinking.  Retirement is boring.
