WARNING - Don't purchase Papa John Gift Card

I just purchased a Papa John's $5 gift card (Sunday morning 12/14) and AARP sent me an ULTA BEAUTY GIFT CARD instead of the Papa John Card. So how do I return it for what I ordered? I DON'T WANT AN ULTA BEAUTY GIFT CARD!

Wish I had a Papa John's card to trade for your Ulta card...

(Unless that wold be against the "terms & conditions", or rules, of course.)

Big bummer! Am wondering whether a real person is goofing them up or if it’s an AI or some other automated code-writing program gone rogue?

And for a $5 gift card it isn't worth the time to call AARP customer service and deal with them. Doesn't give me much confidence for any future purchases on this site! 🫤

And now today, April 1, 2026, I purchased 2 gift cards and so far have received NOTHING 🤔🫤🤨☹️😡

Yep, read about that yesterday.  Also those who used points for Panera card got a Marshall’s card instead.

Some have come here saying they got their points back for that mix up.  But I don’t think they were given the card they were supposed to get at all.  Doesn’t sound like any explanation on it or the reimbursement either was given to them, just points appears back in their accounts.  They don’t even know if the wrong card can be used or got deactivated.

I also tried to purchase a Papa John gift card and they also sent me an U BEAUTY gift card instead! This site is plagued with problems and issues! 😞
