The early bird gets the Amazon gift card worm------but only if you're awake in the Eastern Time Zone (unfortunately, I live in the Central Time Zone).

AARP: please give AARP members in the OTHER time zones a chance at the Amazon gift cards.

It might also help if they just offered one Amazon gift card with more available, instead of offering three with smaller amounts available.  They don't always offer more than one a month, but this month they have so far offered three, but it looks like they all sold out in less than an hour after being offered.  When they offer three separate gift cards, one person can get all three, which leaves fewer available for other people.  If they would just offer one (and with more available for that one than having three with fewer available), then everyone could only get one of them, which would leave more available for other people.  Of course, offering multiple gift cards is nice for those people who are lucky enough to see them right away, but it sucks for those of us who would really like to get these, but never can because they sell out so fast.

Yeah, I can’t believe how lopsided that is.  It’s automated, so why not set it up to hit the other time zones as well.

I do like that they seemingly are doing this at random more now.  They used to, if I remember correctly, put the best ones on at midnight (ET) the last day of every month.  You had to battle to get them because it seemed as if everyone was on doing the same thing.  Sometimes, you would have to watch a video 4-5 times to get credited for it for the extra credit rewards, which you needed to be able to redeem certain gift cards.  That was a nightmare.
