I tried to redeem a members only gift card and i got this message 'Purchases of this item are limited to one'.... I also tried to purchase the gift card and the 'add to cart' button is no longer available. Am i the only one experiencing this or it's a glitch?
Hi @GeorgeF246585, I can understand your concern. We have different types of gift cards through AARP Rewards. The point-only items are limited to 1 item per person, you can purchase up to 5 discounted standard gift cards per month. Each item on the catalog will show you the disclosure before you complete your purchase. Can you make this a little more clear: if I redeem for 11000 points a Famous Dave’s gift card on January 1, 2025 does this mean I will never be able to redeem for it forever (like in 2026 and beyond)) as long as it’s also for 11000 points BUT IF THE CARD IS FOR 15000 points then I will be able to redeem for it. ???

@BillD916633 I will be happy to clarify. If you redeem your points for an item that is limited to one, you would not be able to redeem for the same item at the same price at a later date if it is listed again. However, if the item is listed at a different price, it would be considered a different listing and you would be able to redeem for it. - Caleb G.
This isn't happening to me, at least not for the Domino's gift cards. But back in 2023, there was a similar issue, where some people couldn't redeem certain gift cards because they got "purchases of this item are limited to one" even though they hadn't redeemed the gift card. It would happen with different gift cards for different people, and it wouldn't happen to everyone. Never heard from AARP if they found and fixed the issue, but after a while there were no more comments about this, so it looks like the issue was resolved. But maybe they didn't fix it, or maybe the latest "maintenance" updates have brought the issue back.
