Gift card purchase not received
Yesterday morning (> than 24 hrs ago) I purchased a $15 Bath and Body Works gift card and have not yet received it. I have checked and double checked my email and spam folders but it’s not there. Normally I get the GC link with in a few minutes. The purchase shows in my transaction history and has been charged to my PayPal account but I’m still waiting.

Today (June 13, 2022), I purchased an Albertson gift card, and it hasn't arrived yet. It's been over 12 hours, and usually the gift cards arrive within minutes of purchase. The purchase is showing in my transaction history, and there is a charge on my credit card. I wonder if the gift card issues from last month are repeating this month??

Apparently there are issues in receiving cards lately.Relative redeemed a few days ago and it took 2 days contacting 4 times to finally get them.Another relative bought 3 cards yesterday and hasn't received them.He plans to try and contact them tomorrow.Money has already been taken from his bank account.Its not email related but you have to go through the calling and say you have checked spam folder and added the email account from them,etc.They are just not being sent and there is some issue with the program.Going to stop ordering until its fixed.Most times you need the card soon.That is the point of e-cards.Very aggravating to have to call to get them and sometimes more than one call.

@MemberS2006 The glitch has been corrected and the gift cards that were purchased during the site issue have been re-sent. The emails will arrive within 24 hours and we also recommend checking the spam folder.

Agree about needing the GC soon. My intent was to use it yesterday while I was out shopping. I’ve ordered many many GCs from this site and have NEVER had an issue. Sounds like nobody have gotten their orders, at least the ones placed this weekend. Hopefully the glitch will be fixed soon, although I’m not going to order any more until I know it’s fixed.

I'm having the same problem, as well as a friend of mine. We both bought e-gift cards yesterday, 5/7, both of ours were for Kroger, and still haven't received anything. It's been more than 24 hours since the purchase. The transactions went through on our credit cards immediately (of course). I've never had this problem before and have purchased several e-gift cards since i joined AARP two years ago. Usually I receive them within a few minutes. I found a 2019 post in this forum where someone had this problem, and he stated AARP told him it could take up to 72 hours, which is absurd.
Update: I still have not received my e-gift card for $50 for Kroger. I've looked at past posts on this forum and it appears there has been a significant problem with AARP e-gift cards failing to be emailed within the 24-hour period since January 2022. Since this is probably a software issue that needs to be resolved, I hope someone is actively working on it. FYI - I checked my SPAM folder and it's not there either.

I purchased 4 Airbnb cards a week ago today and still haven't received them. I have called twice and have been told that they will pass along the information. This seems to be an ongoing issue that is reported as resolved but clearly it isn't. I feel that AARP should at least have a way to check the status of any cards that have been ordered on their website without having to call. Also if there is a problem with one of these transactions then AARP should reach out to let us know without us having to continually call.

Hi, did you ever get this resolved? I am currently in the same boat and have made several calls to AARP customer service. Keep getting the run around and being told it can take up to 3-5 business days after escalating. The turn around time it takes to get the issue resolved is ridiculous considering AARP already took the funds out of my account. I’m beyond frustrated as they keep stating issue is resolved but this has happened to me 2x over the past few days with separate purchases.

Usually Digital Rewards will be delivered to the Participant's email address associated with their http://AARP.org?cmp=SNO-LITHIUM---&socialid=14624927815 Online Account within 24 hours for orders submitted during normal business hours (8 am - 5 pm EST, Monday – Friday). Delivery times may exceed 24 hours in certain instances. Have you checked your spam/junk folder? Good morning, I’ve purchased 2 $500 gift cards over the past few days. One was for Carnival and one was for Airbnb and I still have not received them. I’ve contacted aarp for 2 days now and nothing resolved. I’ve checked email inbox, junk and spam folders and still nothing.

Hi Janelle, it has been almost 72 hours and I’ve still not received my Carnival gift card, but the payment has been taken out of my bank account, and I’ve checked my spam folder ~ not there either. This is my first purchase with AARP and I’m concerned considering the amount I paid for it. I really need to use it.

I purchased a princess cruise gift card and its been 24 hours and I have not receive it. My wife purchased right after me and she received it instantly. Were waiting for my gift card to arrive so we can pay for our cruise. Is there anyway I can expedite it?
