California Pizza Kitchen redemption email didn't come

Did anyone else have this problem?

The longer it goes without it coming, the more concerned I am.

Chat resulted in an up to two week delay while it is investigated.

My points were deducted and a confirmation screen came up.

@RichardB815971 , it can take up to 24 hours to arrive. Fingers crossed yours arrive soon. 🤞 Hopefully you took a "screenshot" of the confirmation screen. I do & keep it until I receive my giftcard. IF for some reason it NEVER arrives, they usually will refund your points. Good luck!

Yes, points get refunded but I have had the redemption taken and got nothing for it in the past. No replacement redemption allowed by the computer system.

I've had the same issue and I didn't receive my California pizza Kitchen and it's over 24 hours. They do reissue the points but who needs them, I loose a reward for the month.

@RichardB815971 , well I hope it works out this time!!! 🤞

Amazingly, i was just now (on April 24) able to get my third redemption.   Glad this fiasco had a happy ending unlike the last time this happened a year or so ago.  Thanks for all the comments, everyone, and thanks to consumer care if they had anything to do with remedying this situation.

Richard @RichardB815971 , I am SO SORRY to hear this!!!

Well my friend, all we can do at this point is keep HOPING AARP will "either" fix the issue now (if fixable) or UPDATE THEIR Rewards Program SOFTWARE. Maybe IF enough participants call the AARP Customer Service, someone who handles SOFTWARE PURCHASES will listen & care. Unfortunately this person does NOT "read" the posts on this AARP Community Board. 😞

It didn't.  Meaningless points returned and I am robbed of a redemption.

$5 isn't much but that is all we get these days and now THEIR mistake costs ME my redemption.  @AARPConsumerCare, this is not right.

@summerontheway   This same thing happened to me in June a couple of years ago with a Chipotle offer.   Points returned after a call, redemption lost.  Rewards' mistake, my loss.   They don't care and the people who answer the phone can't fix it and those who can, don't care.

Hi Richard @RichardB815971 , I am NOT an IT person, but feel the AARP Software is VERY OLD. So old, that this "issue" is NOT "fixable". I feel an UPGRADE would "allow" REDEMPTIONS to be "reversed". In ending, the AARP Rewards Program seems to NOT be a PRIORITY on what AARP is interested in these days. Personally, I am spending "less" time with AARP in my old age = have NO expectations of them. The old AARP is no more & with them NOW allowing age 18+ to be members, things are going to get more interesting next year. We all have to "choose" what ADDS to our lives. And "walk away" from what does NOT. 😉

That is not right for sure @RichardB815971 .  It would be one thing if you got your 1 out of the three redemptions you are offered, given back, but to not have had that done is really crappy.  It already stinks that you can’t get the reward as advertised, but to have them keep one of your redemptions you are allotted is not right.
