SONG TITLE WORD ASSOCIATION - We seem to still be having fun - So Play on!

SONG TITLE WORD ASSOCIATION

Okay

This is meant to be a long running topic . The rules are simple and there are a zillion songs out there, so lets see what we can do with this.

You start with a song title. Let's use Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith

You look at that title, pick out one word from it and find a new song title with that word in it,( example, In & Out of Love - Bon Jovi) then post the new title as your post. The next person follows. See easy

So lets give it a try. My title is: Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith.

your reply could be:

from Love in an Elevator to Love is all you need--Beatles

My hope is that our new member  duke  could help us get this started.

Please pick up on any word in the last posted Title!

Sue - George Chakiris was one of the main STARS of that movie!  And back when the movie came out, his presence caused a big flurry of excitement, because his was a handsome new face to all us moviegoers!  (And obviously, I bought into all the hype about him!!)  Do you remember going to see West Side Story when it first came out?  I think I was in 8th grade or so, and went with my best gal pal.  After the scene where we were to have surmised that Tony & Maria spent the night together, I turned to my friend in great disappointment & whispered that I wished we had gotten to actually SEE how their night together had gone - 8th grade curiosity at work , I guess!  I imagine 8th graders these days are much more saavy about such stuff!  Pam

George Maharis in movie "West Side Story"?  I don't think so, but I will check. And "West Side Story" had that other gorgeous George - Geroge Chakiris! Woman Wink

(I am adding in a comment here:  I checked sites for both the movie & for George Maharis.  Best I can tell, he was not in the movie "West Side Story".)

Note:  Thanks for the clarification on "West Side Story".  I never noticed the familiar face until I watched the tape a couple of years ago but I didn't check the credits.

"Blue Suede Shoes" is a rock and roll standard written and first recorded by Carl Perkins in 1955 and is considered one of the first rockabilly (rock and roll) records and incorporated elements of blues, country and pop music of the time. Perkins' original version of the song was on the Cashbox Best Selling Singles list for 16 weeks, and spent 2 weeks in the No. 2 position.

Elvis Presley performed his version of the song three different times on national television. It was also recorded by Buddy Holly and Eddie Cochran among many others.

No problem katrinka/Kathy!  The thread always keeps going, one way or another.  We sort it out the best we can, & keep on postin' our tunes.  And, yes that was a great song by Al Martino!  Also, I appreciated your message, as it was my post that inadvertently was "skipped over".   Pam
