SONG TITLE WORD ASSOCIATION - We seem to still be having fun - So Play on!

SONG TITLE WORD ASSOCIATION

Okay

This is meant to be a long running topic . The rules are simple and there are a zillion songs out there, so lets see what we can do with this.

You start with a song title. Let's use Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith

You look at that title, pick out one word from it and find a new song title with that word in it,( example, In & Out of Love - Bon Jovi) then post the new title as your post. The next person follows. See easy

So lets give it a try. My title is: Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith.

your reply could be:

from Love in an Elevator to Love is all you need--Beatles

My hope is that our new member  duke  could help us get this started.

Please pick up on any word in the last posted Title!

But I will also respond to Dave's post of:   IF YOU WANNA BE HAPPY

PattyDiane:  Are you familiar with "Subways Are For Sleeping"?  I am under impression the most popular songs from that show were "Ride Through the Night" and "Be A Santa" - my dad bought the soundtrack and I know those were the only 2 numbers I regularly listened to, on that album...Smiley Happy

To:  "Everywhere I Look I Can See Her Face", from the musical "Carnival"

I'm not really familiar with the muscial "Subways Are for Sleeping", although I've heard of it and will check it out.  "Carnival" is another one that is not very well known. I was introduced to it by the first boy I dated after I changed colleges.  He was the first boy I had ever met who was into musicals and had an immediate crush on him.  I later had the opportunity to see the production and enjoyed this song even more than on the record.  The best known song from "Carnival" is "Love Makes the World Go Round".

I just did internet search & came across article from 6/5/2014 issue of Rolling Stone, written by Josh Eells, titled "Barry Gibb: The Last Brother."  Well-written and informative article, but it made me sad...
