St Mary's Lighthouse is on the tiny St Mary's (or Bait) Island, just north of Whitley Bay on the coast of North East England. The small rocky tidal island is linked to the mainland by a short concrete causeway which is submerged at high tide.

Welp, another reason for me to visit Duluth!
Traveled to Duluth a couple of times back in 2015 and 2016. We went down into the restored area and saw the lift bridge and lighthouse.

Quite treacherous to hike to Wisconsin Point Lighthouse or Superior Entry Lighthouse (not sure of the official name). It's also a long, winding road to get to it.
