AARP Eye Center
Okay, sorry, the title is a bit of a tease, but the news is pretty cool:
Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) were seen as far south as Arizona & Arkansas (Local News said Georgia) last night and this morning. The reason was extra high solar activity increasing the number of charged particles interacting with Earth.

Right after I read this last night around 10 PM I heard rain, it was pretty much cloudy all day yesterday. Any time there is an astronomical event, like the Perseid's there are clouds & rain.
Edit... nice clear night last night though! I don't have Cable, but Roku has the Fox News app channel with highlights, I'm recently starting to watch channel this but missed this story.
