Belated Limerick Day
@DeahWA from The Girlfriend mentioned that yesterday was Limerick Day. Thought it would be fun for the folks at Our Front Porch to post a favorite limerick, or create your own. Here's what I wrote: be kind, I know it's a little dorky, maybe even "cheesy."
Eat pizza for breakfast cold,
crease it for lunch on a fold.
For dinner if you desire,
what would be proper attire?
Pizza in pajamas, I'm sold.
So, you just have to follow and AA BB A rhyming theme. Would love to see if we have any poets in our midst. Christine

Couldn't resist @postman29 . This limericking, ( yes, I just make it a verb) is a bit addicting and I've put a few more out on the forums. Christine

@Rhymesometimes I am not a limerist but I felt I needed to make a contribution to this topic!
We’re off to see the wizard…

Three cheers for good sport DaveMcK,
for sharing your rhyming today.
Classic movie reference no less,
if honest, I must confess.
Your porch is a fun place to play.
@DaveMcK Thank you for sharing your wordsmithing, very clever. A natural limerist. Christine
