Any Fans of the Savannah Bananas Here?
TODAY: Why the Savannah Bananas Are Selling Out Stadiums Across US
VERY entertaining for the whole family - Not your conventional baseball to say the least - different rules some of which involve the fans.
Stilt hitter and pitcher -
I just love them - they are now making their national tour - play like teams in major stadiums across the country - today they are in NYC - Bronx at Yankee Stadium playing the Firefighters (another like team).
Highly recommended for entertainment - Ryan Cox is my favorite player - he's one of the best trick players I have ever seen.

After several years of trying, I won the lottery to purchase tickets this year! My husband and I will be flying across the country to see them, taking an extra day to check out Savannah. I bought four tickets and two friends from Texas will be joining us. I'm really looking forward to it.

GOOD FOR YOU - Yep, my daughter and family got to see them - somewhere last year - I think, Miami
You are going at a good time - I believe that the franchise is now expanding with lots more teams being added soon - the Loco Beach Coconuts and the Indianapolis Clowns, expanding the Banana Ball Championship League to six teams including the the Party Animals, Fire Fighters and Texas Tailgaters.
Their 2026 tour is up to 60 games and in 14 different stadiums -
A good time to be a fan - Have fun.

MORE info - adding more teams -
The opponents of the Savannah Bananas in "Banana Ball" include the Party Animals (debuted in 2021), Firefighters (debuted in 2024), Texas Tailgaters (debuted in 2025), Indianapolis Clowns (set to debut in 2026), and the Loco Beach Coconuts (set to debut in 2026).
Saw the Party Animals the other nite on TV at Grayson Stadium - dress in all pink. wow - what a team.
Also found this which gives more details on the experience of banana ball -
ESPN.com - 10/10/2025 - Savannah Bananas 101: Teams, rules, and more baseball facts
Looks like this new sport’s entertainment ( which is it more? A sport or an entertainment?) is growing by leaps and bounds.
Take a look at the rules - yea, guess this does make it a sport. My favorite is:
Fans can make outs: If a spectator in the stands catches a foul ball, it is an out.
Guess this is a way that you can actually “make one” for the home team.

Problem is they are so popular that the third party ticket sellers are buying them all up - I think that is why the prices rise - they are only $ 35 if done on their main website via the lottery. But so many people have no problem paying for the higher price tickets - especially when they are even having to fly or drive long distances to just get to the event.
Like you said about your son and his family - even after driving 300 miles - well worth it .
Just don’t buy from a scammer!!!
Our tickets start at $35 when purchased directly from our official site. If you see tickets priced significantly higher, they may have been originally bought from us and are now being resold on third-party platforms, or they could be completely fake listings.
Common third-party sites include StubHub, Vivid Seats, and Ticketmaster, among others.
Warning: Tickets purchased through third-party sites are often fraudulent and will not be accepted at the event. Additionally, an overwhelming majority of ticket offers on social media platform are scams. Please use extreme caution if you choose to pursue tickets from these sources.

BTW - their half time shows are something else - the other night they were sponsoring a foster parent charity and some of the fans and team wives had a baby crawling race - so exciting - at the very end one of the baby’s just took off and won.
