Website access country restrictions

I read the AARP magazine and bulletin online.  When I received the june 2026 email notifying me that there were new ones available, I tried to log in and read them.  However, I was in Singapore and you have set up your website to not allow access from there.  That doesn't seem reasonable - why would you do that?

You're so right, Alan. Until they get their "" together, might try Opera browser; you can choose VPN free and it should fix this, me thinks...

I know how to use a VPN to impersonate being in a different location, but I should not/don't want to have to cheat the system.

One has to set the country blocking for a web site explicitly so some one at AARP has decided which countries to not allow.  AARP publishes articles advising about retiring overseas, but restricts reading their magazine from overseas?
