I switched my membership to all digital on June 2 and I am still getting the magazine and bulletin mailed to me. How long does it take to stop getting those mailed? I did get a confirmation email on June 2 saying I would stop getting mailed publications.
Hi @MargaretA107029, thank you for reaching out. We print our mailing labels in advance, it usually takes 4-6 weeks for the AARP The Magazine and AARP Bulletin to stop after you switch to all digital. I would like to take a look at your account to confirm the publications will stop. Please enable your private messages by following the instructions in our article: https://aarp.info/47hWcl7 and send me a private message. - Diana G.
Sorry, just now saw this response because the notification that there was a response went to my spam folder. I tried to follow the instructions to enable private messages, but the instructions did not work. I cannot find a "Private Messenger" tab after I click on the Preferences tab.
MargaretA107029 I understand you're still getting publications, even after switching to digital only. Sometimes it can take up to 6 weeks for publications to stop. However, we'd like to double-check your account to ensure we have stopped the mailing of your publications. Margaret @MargaretA107029 , some members DONOT have the TAB for the AARP Private Message (PM). A 2024 "glitch" and AARP is open weekdays 8am to 8pm ET. Try calling them. Good luck, Nicole!
