Lifetime Membership?

Several years ago, as I recall, I paid for a "lifetime membership" to AARP. It was, I believe, $100. Now I keep getting renewal notices and reminders. I just did a renewal, just to be safe, for an annual membership. But I'd like to know what happened to my "lifetime" membership?

i know this is a older post and you probably resolved this issue. But, your lifetime membership is still good. No need to renew. If you need a new card, call up aarp and ask for a replacement one. They are now plastic, which is kinda nice.

if you already renewed, call them anyways, you can probably get a refund from them.

I believe you when you said you paid $100 for it. I paid $200 for it and I think the price has been the same for many years. Make sure

you did not sign up for a five year plan instead.

Hi, Janice! I bought my life membership to AARP in 2004 at $250; I've since bought for my Mom, Sister and Brother at same price. AARP owes you a refund, me thinks.
