AARP Eye Center
Just got a renewal notice via email but it is confusing me. Near the beginning of the message it states
"...automatically renew and unless you contact AARP to cancel before your next payment date of March 12, 2025, your Credit Card will be charged $20 for your next 24 months of membership"
Then further down the message it says "NOTE: Your membership will continue to renew, and unless you contact AARP to cancel before March 12, 2026, your Credit Card ending in **** will be charged $20 for your next 12 months of membership. Your membership will continue to renew for successive one-year terms until canceled.
So am I renewing for 12 months or 24 months?
No, I never did get this resolved. All I got was some run around instructions about sending private messages that didn't work. Got another renewal email today with the exact same ambiguous wording. I'll probably let my membership lapse since I don't really get a lot out of it anyway.

Thanks for trying to help. Tried the chat system but nobody home but some chatbot that offered nothing new. You'd think a website geared toward seniors would be WAY MORE intuitive to navigate and set up. I'm struggling to see the value in continuing my AARP membership.
