You would think so - but other than stopping most correspondence, it doesn't seem that you can surgically choose to stop membership renewal notices and requests for you to sign up for automatic annual renewal. I'm paid till 2033, and still get nagged about auto renewal. It is annoying, and I've tried various forms of complaining. I would think if people are paid more than a year into the future, they'd leave them alone, but no. I even recently got a paper letter asking me to sign-up for auto annual renewal - that's just wasting money for someone paid till 2033.
