i am looking for any information about AARP Sponsored FOREMOST MOBILE HOME INSURANCE. Hopping to hear from someone that is a policyholder and their experience with this company.

I wanted to check them out as well for our place in FL.  The first thing I saw was the dismal ratings they get on YELP.   AARP should have the clout to partner with reputable companies.   What good is a lower price (I'm presuming that's the case...) when service is sub-par.  Shame.

I am surprised that they still write business in the state of FL.  What insurer has a great rating on Yelp in FL ?  Any of them?

Citizens Property Insurance Corporation is the largest insurer of homes in Florida. As the state-backed insurer of last resort, Citizens holds the most policyholders. I do not know if they insure mobile homes.

Understand what you are buying - contractually.

First thing is to read the DISCLOSURE to make sure you know how the AARP fits into the equation.  It does not stamp this benefits with any sort of seal of approval, neither does it say AARP offers a discount or better pricing for members.  Nor does it say that this is a better product because it bears the AARP branded name.

Whatever you are looking for that makes a difference to you - has to be in the contract to be enforceable and this is taken care of by the commercial vendor NOT the AARP who only gets paid the royalty for use of their name.

You can let this product be one of the many which you investigate to give you the best coverage for your needs.

Count me in on this topic.
The insurance industry is taken advantage of us seniors and trying to recoup their losses due to all the bad weather in the last few months (Fl. GA. NC.) by raising our premiums. Our only recourse is to shop for the best coverage and cost.
