Curious why customer support is outsourced to Columbia ?

The line quality isn't very good.

$260 per month is the minimum wage in Columbia SA. Those hourly wages are comparable to other global locations.

 

Philippines where many call centers are domiciled average $250/month (US$)

After another call I asked about the sound quality.Support person mentioned problems with the headsets.
