- Pitchers will have to face a minimum of three hitters -

They said it was to speed up the game - well, maybe so -

Time to start mixing up those "lefties" in the line up.

I read the rules. Only applies to relief pitchers a little more than starters. Does make sense. Speeding up the game just to overlooking a particular scenario regardless of resulted pticher vs. batter outcome when facing 1 or 2 hitters regardless of results. An excpetion is if the the trainer can tell if a pitcher is really hurt.
