After looking at the research I've added two things to my diet: almonds and prickly pear cactus pads. Almonds are rich in beneficial compounds such as LDLs, antioxidants, anticancer agents, vitamin E, minerals needed for bone health, and help control blood sugar. Prickly pear cactus has been found to contain extremely powerful anticancer compounds: Cactus pear: a natural product in cancer chemoprevention https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1242252/

I add the prickly pear to scrambled eggs, curry, and as a replacement in green bean recipes.
