AARP Eye Center
I am recently retired and still getting used to being at home all day. I tried to get a part time job but no success. I would love to chat and get to know people from all over the country. Maybe you can give me some advice on retirement loneliness! Rebecca
Hey there, I'm so sorry for your loss. WOW, you have a large family. I'm divorced so it's just me in the house, well, and three dogs. I have two daughters, two grandkids and one great grandaughter.
I'm in GA and boy is it already hot here! I used to garden all the time but getting older, I can't deal with the sun and heat like I used to. It's ok...I like being older.
Enjoy your day, Rebecca
Good afternoon Mildred, it would be nice meeting and getting to know someone to chat with ever so often. I'm a senior person of 89 yrs, and i really don't do much these days. I have numerous grand children that i correspond regularly which i love. I live in a double house ith one of my sons, who has a dog.. I call him grand dog, and he thinks he owns me. Being it's Thanksgiving, i've just finished making cakes and pies earlier for my grand daughters. Where do you live ( State ) I live in N,Y.. You mentiioned living on a farm for many yrs. My family moved here from Ohio many yrs. ago, and i lived on a farm as well, until i was 13 yrs. old. Not much good about that experience that i remember. Being a senior person i also muss a lot of things that i'm not able to do any more. On that note i won't bore you with to much now, but would love to get to know you and discuss life and all that it entails. If it interests you moving
forward we can also chat by e/mail. Have a wonderful rest of this Thanksgiving Day. Mary
