Dairy Cow Rhyming

You Are What You Eat Eats

In the past, so much protein,

from factory-grown  Holstein.

My labels now say grass-fed,

lush pastures for eating and bed.

Do dairy cows need sunscreen?

There was a cow and a kangaroo sitting at a bar  as they talked their eyes  came upon a jar.  was it local or was it far.  what were the contents what is the tale the jar, As their voices got loud another person in the crowd heard their pleas as it turns out it was filled with limburger cheese

"Got milk?" they said.

Of course! That's why I'm bred.

My milk's so creamy and white,

it's sure to please and delight.

It's especially good for that organ in your head!

@AARPRachelA  So clever  Well done. The minute I read "bred" in your poem, I thought of bread, and this popped in my head. Sometimes they come fast, and sometimes slow and painful.

Wonder, that was the bread,

my brother loved, and he was fed

Squash it into a tiny ball,

is that really it, is that all?

If I had to eat it, would dread.

Didn't have much else to do,

Farmer said he could be steak

the cow said give me a break

I don't want a beef with you!

So clever. @postman29 .  That limerick is exceptional!  You deserve a worthy response.

That poem gave me shivers,

want your skill, just some slivers.

Only one thing left to say,

Stevie Wonder said it this way.

Signed, Sealed, Delivers.

Thank you @postman29 .  I hope I haven't pulled you into the dark world of,  . . . addictive limericking.  Support group?  Take care, 😄 ---  Christine
