[Tuesday 9/3/24]
I turn 66 this month (September 2024) and my YEARLY Medicare bloodwork for this year 2024 said I am pre-diabetic.
(1) Any TIPS to share?
(2) What has been YOUR CHALLENGES?
My mom, deceased since 2018 in her eighties was an insulin using diabetic.
*** Lol, missing my weekly ice-cream and cake ***
My Medicare doctor who is leaving her practice NEXT MONTH (October 2024), suggests exercise and mediterraen diet.
I have also been doing ALOT of reading and HOPEFUL to reverse this by the time my 2025 Medicare bloodwork rolls around.
*** I would luv to hear about YOUR JOURNEY and anything else you want to SHARE ***
Thanks,

I had a friend that used the Medicare Diabetes Prevention Program coverage and it really turned things around for her. And there is NO out of pocket cost if you use a Medicare approved supplier- you can also do it virtually.
Here is the coverage, the details and how you find an approved supplier.
Medicare.gov - Diabetes Prevention Program Coverage
Good Luck - changes to ones patterns is always seems harder the older we get. A little help might just make it a bit easier.
Yes @GailL1 , my Medicare doctor gave me this info.
